'Just kidding' means 'just a joke'
Why 'Kidding'? Does the word 'kidding' have taken from the word 'kid'?

Kids love to joke, so we use 'just kidding' when we 'make a joke'
And a person who loves to joke is similar with kid...
Hmm, confusing isn't it?
Whatever, just kidding or tobe similar with kid is not forbidden
